이란이 요르단·바레인·쿠웨이트 내 미군 기지를 공격했다고 주장했고, 미군은 이에 대응해 이란 내 목표물에 새로운 공습을 감행했다. 중동 정세 긴장으로 유가도 3.5% 이상 급등했다.
Iran claimed it struck US military bases in Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait; the US carried out fresh strikes on targets inside Iran in response. Oil prices jumped more than 3.5% amid the escalation.
